Does your starting weapon feel weak?

Do you like what the enemies are using against you?

Well, just link yourself to a weakened enemy to get a copy of their weapon! But beware - your ability doesn't come without its caveats. 

You must keep the enemy alive in order to use its weapon, but that's easier said than done - when linked, the enemy will go on a rampage against you.

Survive an endless series of enemy waves. Each enemy is able to carry one of 3 weapons:

- Double Pistol: faster fire rate than your pesky basic weapon.

- Machine Gun: spray your enemies with fast bullets.

- Shotgun: you get the idea.

You'll be partially healed after each wave.

You can keep an enemy alive between waves if you like its gun, but it will keep you on your toes as long as it's alive, so, good luck! 

 How long can you survive?

Controls (there are animations for them in the main menu too!):

- A and D to move left and right

- Space to jump

- Left mouse button to shoot the weapon you're holding (you can hold the button to auto-fire)

- Right mouse button to shoot the linking projectile (aim it at an enemy with a ! above their head and get their weapon!)

- Escape to pause the game, in case you need a breather.

This was our first jam project (and completed game too!), and we hope you enjoy playing it as much as we enjoyed making it! Any and all suggestions, ideas and feedback will be hugely appreciated!

We have a good bunch of ideas that didn't make it into the Jam version of the game, but we'll try to add more content later, like enemies with powerups (that you can also copy when linked), and different levels and weapons.
